Get to know Shaylee Keslar, the feedmill operations intern from Clatonia, Nebraska!
Shaylee is studying Business Administration at Bethany College.
Why did you choose to intern at Farmers Cooperative?
I chose to intern at Farmers Cooperative because my family has always had a good experience working for and with them and because of how they support the community.
What has been the best part of your internship so far?
The best part of my internship so far has been going to different locations and seeing how they work.
What are the day-to-day tasks in your role?
My day-to-day tasks include helping customers, taking and making feed orders, and assisting in making feed.
What is your summer internship project?
This summer, I will be making an online book of all the different feed bag tags and how to feed so it is easy and accessible to employees and customers.
How did you find out about the Farmers Cooperative internship?
I have always been involved with Farmers Cooperative and knew they offered internships, and knew it was a great opportunity to have.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I play the harmonica.
